Of course the original intent for the GPS in the phone was to help get emergency responders to the location of the phone (and person in need of help). The issue is specifically with an Android based phone that for now needs to have its GPS shut off in order to avoid any potentially nightmare-like scenarios. At least we think so – since on their website it is listed under the automotive section. Probably HDS-5 doesn’t freak out when you get off the main roads and start driving on unpaved territories. Slightly warmer weather - we just topped freezing for the first time in 2010 - and great conversation made our eight miles seem effortless.
